No. You will never be charged a setup fee.
2. How long does it take before my account is activated?
If you are paying via PayPal, or Credit Card your account will be activated and set up immediately upon approval! If you are paying via Mail-in payment (Money Order, Check) your account will be activated upon clearance.
3. What methods of payment are accepted?
Credit card, Money Order, and Paypal.
4. What happens if I go over my data transfer limit?
You will be emailed when you reach 80% of your allowed data transfer as defined in the hosting package you selected during signup. At that point you can either upgrade your plan or purchase extra transfer at $2.00/Gigabyte.
5. How can I host more than one domain on my account?
Easily! Just log into your control panel and navigate to the domain maangement section and add in your domain. This can be done easily with a few clicks and keystrokes!
6. What is a control panel?
ProHosted provides you with a "control panel" for you to manage virtually every possible aspect of your hosting package and website(s). You have ultimate control and power over your hosting with cPanel. Your control panel will enable you to do many things quickly and easily that normally hosting providers do not make available to you. For a full list of features click Here.
7. Can I host adult content?
Yes, adult content is allowed. Please keep in mind however that there are certain laws which apply to adult content designating what is legal and what is not. Please read through our AUP for more information regarding what is NOT considering legal adult content. (e.g: child pornography)

9. Where are your servers located?
Our servers are located in a secure state-of-the-art datacenter in a climate-controlled environment, raised floor tiling, FM-200 fire suppression, remote hands, backup diesel power generators, UPS systems, with 24/7/365 monitoring and support.
10. How can I view my site's stats?
You can view your site's statistics including visitors, referrers, and much more information by logging into your control panel and navigating to the "Stats" section where you'll have a choice between 8 different methods and various formats of viewing your site's statstics.
11. How do I send and receive email?
You can send and receive email either via the webmail interface located in your control panel where you'll have two different web e-mail programs to choose from to use, or you can set your servers information manually in your mail client with the following information:
Incoming mailserver:
mail.yoursite.com
Outgoing mailserver:
mail.yoursite.com
Your username and password are the ones you have created in your control panel.
You also have the option of letting your control panel automagically configure Outlook Express for you should that be your email client. IMAP and POP3 are supported as means of incoming mail. Remember to set your username and password in your mail client's options for outgoing mail. Feel free to contact support@prohosted.net if you have any questions or issues.
12. How do I change which server handles my site's email?
You can change the MX record (mail handler) in your control panel to point to the server that is handling the delivery of your email for your site if you choose not to use mail.yoursite.com. Do this by navigating in your control panel to the "E-Mail" section and then "Modify MX Entry".
13. How do I create databases and manage them?
In your control panel, navigate to the "Databases" section where you'll see two management programs which allow you to manage your databases and the data contained inside of them.

16. How do I add sub-domains?
In your control panel, navigate to the "Domains" section where you'll find a link to "Manage SubDomains". Click on this link and you'll be taken to an area to add/modify/remove your sub-domains.

Yes, Server Side Includes are supported.
19. How do I create custom Error handlers (404/403/500/etc.)?
In your control panel, navigate to the "Site Management" area where you'll find the link named "Custom Error Pages". Click on this an you will be taken to an area where you can edit your pages through your browser and apply them immediately!
